Anniversary Supper Evening ‘ No 20 ‘ October 26th / 27th 2017

This will just about coincide with our third anniversary….

and with the help of you , its nice to know that we have just gone beyond 200 reviews at Tripadvisor too !

This will consist of a set menu which will be the same for both nights .

A glass of Goughenheim Malbec bubbles, on arrival

served with nibbles of Poole crab and smoked salmon; anchovy-onion puff pastry slice

followed by

‘ Pigeon and Pear ‘

Slivers of roast rose pigeon breast – chicken liver parfait with Port and Puy lentils

Red wine poached pear; brioche toast

‘Scallop, mussels and almonds’

Sauteed Shetland scallop with Serrano ham and ‘pesto -parsley’ baked mussels

Ajo blanco ‘white almond gazpacho’ Green grapes and Pedro Ximenez

‘Great Berwick Beef’Sam and Clairespecialise in rearing English Longhorn cattle and producing the finest, most flavoursome and tender organic, 5 week dry aged Longhorn beef possible.

Reared on the meadows next to the River Severn, just upstream from the market town of Shrewsbury, the herd has a purely organic grass fed diet

Two cuts on the plate – Braised onion with slow cooked beef shin with treacle and Old Engine Oil

Roasted sirloin with Horn of Plenty mushrooms; ‘Savoyarde’ potatoes


Layers of hazelnut meringue with chocolate and praline;

Orange sorbet and kumquat confit
