Thursday 15th September from around 7-00pm


In so many ways Sicily is a microcosm of Italy.

It has volcanoes, mountains and beaches, together

with ancient cities containing a wealth of historical

architecture. Its volcanic soils and sub-tropical

climate nurture an abundance of oranges, lemons,

almonds, olives and grapes, and the surrounding

Mediterranean is rich in seafood.

The menu


Bella Di Cerignola olives – Parmesan Grissini

Prawns with pesto trapanese – Pizzette

followed by

Sarde a Beccafico

Fresh sardines with wild fennel , raisin and pine kernal; pasta

and then


A large deep fried saffron risotto ball with Trudy’s ragu and buffalo mozarella

served with


Sicilian aubergine stew, at room temperature

Torta Setteveli

A typical celebration cake from Palermo- cake of the ‘seven veils’ ; a combination of alternate layers of chocolate and hazelnut

Gelato al limon

Lemon ice cream ‘lolly’

£30 per person
