Time is running out for this mid week special menu for just £15 per person…..
But don’t worry ! In its place we will be coming up with a special set lunch menu
which will run, to begin with, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtimes and
will commence from the beginning of April.
So come and enjoy a simple tasty meal with friends and family in the comfort and warmth of our small restaurant; for good food and a fine selection of drinks coupled with relaxed and informal service.
The meal includes some of Trudy’s lovely bread with some nibbles – while we prepare your main course.
There will be a choice of two main courses and two puddings which change each week – allowing us to create simple ‘down to earth’ dishes.
Menu for this Wednesday –
Steamed steak and kidney pudding with roast root vegetables; Old Engine Oil gravy
Potato rosti topped with Red Wine Farmer, a special Swiss cheese from Affineur Walo and caramelised onion; creamed leek and mushroom ; baby leaf salad with smoked bacon
Chocolate ‘iced’ bombe with stem ginger, fig and apricot cassata; biscotti

There are two FREE carparks within 5 minutes walk of the restaurant - just off the main high street.
Monday & Tuesday
Wednesday - Saturday
11am till 3pm (last food orders at 2pm)
6:30pm till 11.30pm (last food orders at 9pm)
12am till 4.30pm (last food orders at 2.45pm)
