The meal includes some of Trudy’s lovely bread with some nibbles – while we prepare your main course.
There will be a choice of two main courses and two puddings which change each Wednesday – allowing us to create simple ‘down to earth’ dishes.
So the menu for this week Wednesday 27th January Evening from 6-30pm –
Confit of duck – slowed cooked duck leg with crisp golden skin served on braised red cabbage with Seville orange; little roast potatoes with smoked bacon
Mediterranean gilt head bream fillet, pan fried; served with Romesco sauce-a textured sauce of pounded hazelnuts,almonds, bread, olive oil,garlic, smoked paprika sherry vinegar and noras peppers; salt cod croquetas – green bean salad
Spotted dick with custard and vanilla ice cream
Meringue with plum compote ; lemon posset
There are two FREE carparks within 5 minutes walk of the restaurant - just off the main high street.

Wednesday - Saturday
11am till 3pm (last food orders at 2pm)
6:30pm till 11.30pm (last food orders at 9pm)
12am till 4.30pm (last food orders at 2.45pm)
