Sunday 12th February

A special lunch prior to St Valentine’s Day…..

Roast red pepper soup with anchovy salsa

Keen’s Cheddar baked souffle; watercress and beetroot salad

Crispy duck salad with watermelon and pomegranate

Indian spiced cauliflower and date fritters; coriander.lime and honey yoghurt

Slow roasted shoulder of local lamb stuffed with Italian parsley, lemon and apricot

Roast potatoes, glazed carrots and green beans

Baked Shetland hake with peperonata, chorizo and fennel salad

Local roasted chicken breast with tomato and basi.Taglialini pasta with white wine cream and mushroom sauce

Toasted nuts,seeds and grains with smashed cherries, herbs and soft goats cheese

Queen of puddings

Chocolate and coffee mousse

Spiced carrot, pistachio and almond cake; rosewater cream

Treacle tart with orange mascapone

Cashel Blue with sweet fig biscuits and pear

A welcome glass of Hush Heath’s Balfour Lesley’s Reserve NV fine sparkling English wine

Our bread and nibbles of anchovy and onion confit in puff pastry; croute with smoked mackerel rillette; Bella Di Cerignola Olives

To start

Cornish scallops with curried cauliflower puree; pomegranate and golden raisin dressing


Twice baked cheese soufflé with Starnachas – an award winning Swiss Gruyere style cheese

Served with a little salad of apple, celery, beetroot and watercress

Followed by

Local dry aged beef sirloin ; Bearnaise sauce and chips ; green beans and artichoke

Red wine shallot sauce


Sole Veronique – a classic of lemon sole fillets in a white wine cream sauce with grapes

Baby spinach and ratte potatoes


Slow roasted butternut squash with pistachio pesto and marinated feta

Flat bread, Baba ghanoush and cucumber cajik *

And for pudding

Passionfruit, mascapone and meringue trifle


Chocolate tart with raspberries and cherries
